TRAX uses pressure and motion sensors on your surfboard to track how you move and shift weight through every turn — then compares your technique to pro surfers to help you see what's working, improve consistency, and progress faster.
Get Early AccessWatch how TRAX captures pressure and motion data to show you what’s working – and where to improve.
TRAX is a board-mounted sensor system built for surfers who take progression seriously.
It captures key metrics from every session – including flow, speed, weight shifts, turn angles, and more – then breaks them down using AI to give you clear, personalized feedback.
You’ll know what to improve and how to train, whether you're in the water or working on land.
And because it works across your quiver, TRAX helps you understand how your style adapts – and which setups perform best in different conditions.
Progress like never before – one session at a time.
Get Early AccessTRAX fuses motion and pressure data to capture the full picture of how you surf.
The motion unit includes a 6-degree-of-freedom IMU (accelerometer + gyroscope) to track board rotation, acceleration, and orientation in real time – capturing how you move through turns, pumps, and transitions.
Integrated pressure sensors under the traction pad measure how you apply weight through your feet – revealing stance shifts, front–back balance, and pressure timing across maneuvers.
Combined, these signals create a high-resolution view of your technique – not just how the board moves, but how your input drives it.
TRAX doesn’t just collect data – it learns from it.
Our system applies machine learning models trained on expert-level surfing to identify patterns in your movement and weight distribution.
By comparing your session data against high-performance reference sets, TRAX can detect inefficiencies, deviations, and missed opportunities – then translate them into focused feedback and targeted drills.
Because surfers vary in how they generate speed or flow through turns, TRAX supports multiple reference styles – so you can stay true to your strengths or train toward a new approach.
TRAX is designed to work across surfers and setups – but meaningful feedback starts with calibration.
You’ll input basic details about your board (like model, volume, and fin setup) and your body (like weight and stance). TRAX uses this information and some manual calibration to interpret sensor data accurately – so pressure shifts and motion patterns reflect your actual surfing, not just raw numbers.
This calibration lets you track performance across your whole quiver, understand how different boards affect your technique, and recommend data-driven choices about what works best.
In future versions, we’re exploring visual sensors to track center of mass and arm movement – adding another layer of insight to how you surf.
TRAX breaks down each wave, turn, and session to show how you’re surfing – and how to improve. From movement data to personalized drills, it’s all in one place.
TRAX connects your data to individualized drills – so you can work on exactly what’s holding you back, even when you’re not in the water.

I’m not asking you to buy anything — just to show that TRAX is worth building. Every sign-up helps me prove there’s demand, understand exactly in which direction to take this, and keep working on something that can actually help us get better.
If you’ve ever felt stuck in your surfing — or just wanted real feedback you could trust — I’d love for you to sign up.
It’s the only way I can make this real.
